Rebecca Trowbridge
Rebecca is a registered AMDRAS mediator with a multidisciplinary background also accredited under The Law Society of NSW and the Tasmanian Farm Debt Mediation program. With professional experience in mining and exploration across Queensland, Western Australia, and New South Wales, Rebecca has first-hand knowledge of the challenges and intricacies within Australia’s primary industries. Rebecca has worked as a Mine, Project, and Database Geologist for major operators Xstrata (now Glencore) and TeckCominco, contributing to resource estimation, maintenance optimization, drilling management, cross-functional collaboration with the Department of Primary Industries NSW, and one of the lead roles in a mining business improvement project. Rebecca holds a Masters of Earth Science and Certificates IV in Business Management, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship and New Business. Rebecca requalified during COVID as lawyer with electives in environmental law and mediation (high conflict, commercial and AMDRAS), and worked as a solicitor for the Hunter Community Legal Centre contributing to rural and regional client support and community legal education. As a former Army Corporal, geologist, high school teacher, and community volunteer, Rebecca brings discipline, practical insight, and an empathetic approach to farm business debt mediation.
