On 28 July 2026 the Minister for Primary Industries announced new Queensland drought declarations and the reinstatement of Drought Carry-on Finance Loans and Emergency Drought Assistance Loans for eligible Queensland primary producers. Full details of these loans will be available once administrative arrangements are finalised. As Director and Owner of The Business Mediation Service, I am a Mediator registered under AMDRAS, who has taken a particular focus on reducing stress and anxiety from participants by preparing participants for mediation with a pre mediation process that focus on the needs and wellbeing of the participants.
My 20+ years in commercial agriculture, primary industry, retail banking and finance along with my experience in estate management and trust administration as an executive of a Public Trustee and having a family farming background, allows my to have empathy and understanding of primary industries and the stress that can be created. My aim is to create a mediation that allows participants to feel in control, heard and understood.
